Lexi Swatt: On camera reel

Lexi is a 2016 Monmouth University graduate with a degree in Communication concentrating in Radio and Television as well as a Certificate in Sports Communication.

Through dedicating her undergraduate time with the Monmouth Athletics marketing and communications departments, she was able to obtain roles within the New York Jets organization, an internship at the CBS Sports Broadcast Center in NYC, and accepted a full-time position with Bleacher Report a month before graduation.

After a year working with the Young Athletes team and Facebook Live production team at the B/R NYC studios, she relocated to South Florida to join the team that would launch CBS Sports HQ, the 24-hour streaming service for sports news and updates on CBS Sports’ digital platforms. Lexi’s roles varied in CBSi offices from editing visual elements used for ‘Reiter’s Block’ with Bill Reiter, to editing and producing short-form videos used on that show as well as Reiter’s social media platforms.

While her career was a result of her love and passion for sports and athletics, she also is a representative of the Miss America Organization. As a four-time title holder, she is presently Miss Montgomery County (NY) 2019. She looks forward to growing in the MAO as a volunteer, as well as using her aspirations as a local public figure to continue building her platform, “Dream It, Be It: Building confidence in girls and young women.” She is also a member of the Soroptimist International. Her experience in her career led her to be invited as a keynote speaker for multiple dinners and banquets in Upstate New York, including the 2018 Fulton-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Athlete of the Year awards ceremony.

Lexi is currently is a Game-day host for the Amsterdam Mohawks, an organization through the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball league, and is relocating to Virginia Beach, VA in the fall.
